Helping others has always been a natural inclination for me, as I have faced my fair share of challenges in life just like everyone else. What truly kept me going and motivated me to pursue my goals was the unwavering support and belief from those who extended a helping hand and believed in me. It dawned on me how crucial it is to celebrate the achievements of others, no matter how big or small, and to offer support throughout their journey towards success. Whether it's the everyday victories or the extraordinary milestones, such as completing high school as a young parent or taking the leap to start a new job in a different city, every step forward deserves recognition and encouragement.

I am immensely thankful for those who took the time to acknowledge and uplift me during pivotal moments in my life. This gratitude fuels my desire to reach out to individuals who have faced adversity and show them that there is someone who cares deeply about their well-being. It is this belief in the transformative power of encouragement that motivates me to make a positive impact on the lives of others, just as it has impacted mine. This realization led me to establish Celebrating One, an organization dedicated to fostering empathy through human connection and commemorating achievements, particularly those of individuals overcoming challenging circumstances to graduate high school.
The core mission of Celebrating One is to provide support and empowerment to families and individuals who are facing economic hardships and require assistance to navigate towards emotional, mental, and financial well-being. By offering the necessary resources and guidance, we aim to help them not only survive but thrive, fostering a sense of community and belonging regardless of their circumstances.

Sydney Fisher
Sydney is in Planning and Business Development at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, focused on building business and strategic plans for the Abigail Wexner Research Institute. She has a background in public health and is involved in many community groups in Columbus. She is excited to support her community through Celebrating One events and programs! So often we focus on major, life-altering milestones, but the small steps and achievements deserve just as much recognition.
Trista Hughes
Trista's career has been focused on personalized medicine to help patients with cancer determine treatment options, as well as help family members with their inherited risk. Trista is so excited to be a part of the Celebrating One organization as the Founder came into her life at a time where she needed help... needed support... needed guidance.... needed reassurance that things were going to be ok. Trista wants to make sure that others going through tough times has this same support. Celebrating One is that organization and Trista is thrilled to be part of it!
Sara Hammond
Sara is a Licensed Social Worker and in management at a technology company that serves health and human services agencies around the country. She has worked in the Social Work field for over 15 years. Sara is a mom of two boys and enjoys spending time with family. She’s motivated by empowering those around her to reach their full potential and helping individuals persevere through some of the most challenging circumstances. Sara excited to contribute to the mission of Celebrating One and serving those in the community!
Kelley Doyle
Kelley, is a photographer and owner of a small event business Iron & Ivy Events, has a marketing and graphic design background. Kelley also has a great family, a very spoiled dog and loves spending time at the lake! She learned of Celebrating One through a chance meeting in the business world and is so glad she did! Kelley is passionate about Celebrating One’s mission and helping those in the community that can benefit from such an amazing program.
Naz Rasoul
As a Financial Manager at Abbott, Naz is responsible for developing business and strategic plans for Abbott's North American Plants.
With extensive experience in financial management, Naz has honed his skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and investment strategies. In addition to his role at Abbott, he has also established his own business, NNR Financial Consulting.
Naz's background in public accounting has equipped him with valuable knowledge, and he actively participates in various community groups in Columbus. He is particularly enthusiastic about supporting Celebrating One and its mission to serve the community.
